Electric Eye - Different Sun (2016)

The second album from this Norwegian band.

Electric Eye is a quartet with a lineup of bass, guitars, drums, keyboards and vocals.

I have previously reviewed their debut album and their third album, their most recent album, in this blog. You can find these reviews somewhere else in this blog.

Electric Eye is a some kind of local super-group from Bergen. Their two other albums is really good too.

The band plays some sort of space rock. They are pretty spaced out into the outer space.

This album though is in an orbit closer to mother earth. The main base camp of their music is space rock. There are also some psych too and some pop rock like space rock.

The sound on this forty minutes long album is not out and out space rock either. There are some more melodic going on here than just space explorations.

The end result is both charming and good. My only gripe is the lack of a great track. Nevertheless, this band is a band I now is keeping an eye out for. This band has a lot of quality and three really good albums.
